About the authors
Bruno Hespeler was a professional hunter for the Bavarian State Forestry Administration and district manager in the private forestry service for many years. He has been working as a freelance journalist and author for over 30 years, works as a consultant and expert for hunters, forest administrations and local authorities and leads excursions on forestry, wildlife biology and cultural topics with a focus on Friuli and Slovenia.
Bernd Krewer managed the entire Springiersbach district near Cochem/Mosel until his retirement. He introduced and bred various Jagdhunderassen, was a well-known search specialist and has been supporting the Jagdhundpart of the hunting magazine DIE PIRSCH.
