BRENNEKE big game cartridge 9.3 x 64 now also lead-free

In 1927, Wilhelm Brenneke introduced a beltless cartridge designed to meet the growing demand abroad, particularly in Africa. He thus created a superior big-game cartridge to the British .375 H&H Magnum, introduced in 1912. From a technical standpoint, beltless cases offer advantages because they center better in the chamber, allowing for a larger powder chamber and thus achieving the same performance as belted cases with shorter cartridges. This is why the 9.3 x 64 Brenneke can also be fired from standard Mauser 98 rifles. At ranges of approximately 250 meters and beyond, it also exhibits improved ballistics. The new lead-free version is loaded with a 14.2 g / 220 gr Original Brenneke Torpedo Universal Bullet (TUG®) nature+, achieving a muzzle velocity of 894 m/s and an energy of 5,695 joules. It can be used on all strong game up to a distance of 300 m.

The 9.3 x 64 BRENNEKE lens with TUG® nature+, available since April 2020, is a tribute to the ingenious inventor in the year of the company's 125th anniversary.
