The new CZ 457 family is the successor to the proven CZ 455 series and is characterized by a thoughtful, modular design that combines classic style with modern manufacturing. Compared to existing models and other manufacturers, the 457 Series is a step ahead of the competition in terms of improved safety, accuracy and durability.

The new CZ 457 models have the following advantages:

• Cylinder shutter with 60° opening angle reduced by 30° (compared to CZ 455)
• Signal pin on the lock as a tension indicator – sliding lock
• new firing pin that is 62% lighter
• embedded system for increased precision
• Adjustable trigger – 800g to 1500g
• exceptionally durable anti-corrosion coating on steel parts for a long service life
• System sleeve with 11 mm prism rail
• hammered barrel (compatible with CZ 455)

Carbon model

The 457 Carbon model is equipped with a unique carbon-coated match barrel. At just 2.2 kg, it is the lightest bolt-action rifle in the 457 series and shoots just as precisely as the highly regarded but heavier Varmint MTR model. The durable, modern designed plastic stock in camouflage design has a "soft-touch" surface coating that gives the weapon an excellent grip. The pistol grip and forearm are ergonomically shaped, the hand position is even better and the grip is more stable than the competing models. The cold-hammered carbon-coated steel match barrel is equipped with an efficient muzzle brake (compensator). All metal components have a corrosion-resistant nitride finish, which is extremely durable and resilient. Dual sling swivel bases on forend for rifle sling and bipod.
