PRODUCT DETAILS
- Stock made of high quality walnut wood
- rare construction
- adjustable sights
- high quality and graceful
The underhammer muzzle-loading pistol from the neo-classic specialist Davide Pedersoli with octagonal barrel and fine, selected walnut wood. The handle fits very well in the hand.
The wide and laterally adjustable U-sight facilitates a quick stop.
The weapon appears slightly front-heavy, as desired for sport shooting. Despite its pleasantly low weight, the weapon doesn't spin up too much when fired, as the barrel is about at hand height, which is a lot easier on the wrist.
The trigger weight is adjustable. A grub screw on the catch of the hammer limits the grip of the trigger pawl. This adjustment screw is secured by a second screw.
The main feature of an underhammer pistol is the position of the piston. This is not screwed directly into the barrel from above, as is the case with most pistols, but is mounted horizontally underneath the barrel.
The hammer hits the piston horizontally forward under the barrel. The piston has an M6x0.75 thread.
The scope of delivery includes a ramrod (with muzzle bushing), a mandrel required to separate the barrel and the handle and to mount the barrel on the handle. In addition, a Pedersoli DVD, a general loading guide for Pedersoli weapons as well as operating and disassembly instructions.
As of February 2020, the weapon is accepted by DSB and MLAIC.
