    The Unterhammer muzzle-loading pistol from the neo-classic specialist Davide Pedersoli presents itself as high-quality and graceful with an octagonal barrel and fine, selected walnut wood. The handle fits the hand very well.

    The wide and laterally adjustable U rear sight facilitates a quick aiming.

    The gun is slightly front-heavy, as desired in sport shooting. Despite the pleasantly low weight, the gun does not rev up too much when firing, since the barrel is about at shooting hand height, which is easy on the wrist.

    The trigger weight is adjustable. A grub screw on the hammer detent limits the grip of the trigger pawl. This adjusting screw is secured by a second screw.

    The main feature of a Unterhammer pistol pistol is the position of the piston. Unlike most pistols, this is not screwed directly into the barrel from above, but is attached horizontally under the barrel.

    The hammer hits the piston horizontally under the barrel. The piston has an M6x0.75 thread.

    The scope of delivery includes a ramrod (with muzzle bushing), a mandrel required to separate the barrel and grip for mounting the barrel on the grip. In addition, a Pedersoli DVD, general loading instructions for Pedersoli weapons and operating and disassembly instructions.

    As of February 2020, the weapon is accepted by DSB and MLAIC.
