This muzzleloader is a detailed replica of the 1857 infantry rifle as it was produced in the second half of the 19th century by the "Königlich Württembergische Rifle Factory Oberndorf", later the Mauser-Werke (1857-1866). It was mainly used in the states of Württemberg and Baden and is specially designed for the 100 meter discipline due to its high precision.
The percussion weapon has a precision match barrel (5 grooves) and a walnut stock with an oil finish. The rear sight can be adjusted both in height and sideways.
At the Muzzleloader World Championships in Barcelos, Portugal from August 15th to 22nd, a new world record was set with this model in the "Lamarmora" discipline with 98 out of 100 points.
