- noble walnut stock
Developed in 1865 by the English gunsmith George Gibbs, the muzzle-loading rifle Gibbs Rifle Perk., .451, in the standard version. Height and windage adjustable rear sight, laterally adjustable front sight tunnel, walnut stock with checkered skin and pistol grip.
NEW: After the many successes achieved by the Gibbs rifle (version p.225), Davide Pedersoli decided to produce a new second version. The version p.125-450. The quality of manufacturing and finish was retained but the rifle was equipped with a barrel that was specifically made for taget shooting at 100-150 meters. The specific twist (new: 530 mm 1.21 with five pulls) and the extended barrel (new: 915 mm) offer bullet stabilization at a shorter distance, which means that the target is hit with very good accuracy.
At the Muzzleloader World Championships in Barcelos, Portugal, from August 15th - 22nd, 2010, Rita Palmer (GER) was able to set a new world record in the “Walkirie” discipline with 100 out of 100 rings and thus win the gold medal. Frederik Jacobs (RSA) also won the gold medal in the “Whitworth” discipline with 99 out of 100 rings.
