To support the "Volunteer Rifle Corps" in Great Britain, the British "Nation Rifle Association" was founded on November 16, 1859 to promote shooting sports. In 1860 the NRA organized the first national event at Wimbledon.
Inspired by this historic sporting event, the Volunteer 1860 is a high quality percussion muzzleloader with a walnut stock and steel/brass fittings - a reproduction of the English Volunteer Rifle Corps model. It has an optimal twist for shooting at 100-150 m.
