Federal hunting ammunition in caliber .30/30 Winchester Hammer. The Hammer Down is loaded with a 150 grs composite bullet with a lead core. It retains a high residual weight during deformation. The load was adapted to the usual barrel lengths of lever-action rifles.
The Terminal Ascent composite bullet is a modern bullet for medium and heavy game with a high BC value. Relief grooves polymer tip in deep cavern and boattail are further features. The Ascent terminal deforms very reliably, even over long distances. The cases and bullets are nickel-plated.
