The Glock 19 in caliber 9 mm Luger represents the compact version of the Glock 17 and therefore has reduced dimensions, making it versatile. They are used, for example, by authorities or as a convenient second weapon.

The Gen4 pistol models offer features that make them very user-friendly:

The design is based on a Modular Back Strap (MBS) frame with a built-in short frame control block and allows the shooter to change the circumference of the frame and adapt it to the respective hand size. Replacing the handle shells is very quick and easy. When using an optional grip scale, the grip angle is not changed, which eliminates any deviation from the usual hit pattern. In addition, the grip and the interchangeable grip scales have a roughened surface (Gen4 RTF surface), which significantly improves the grip when shooting.

The magazine holder can be changed and the support surface is enlarged and, if necessary, can also be attached to the right side of the pistol without using additional parts. The Gen4 models are also equipped with a tandem recoil spring, which reduces recoil and increases spring life.

The Modular Optic System (MOS) allows the user to use the pistol together with an electronic sight. Four adapter plates for mounting common optical systems are included in the scope of delivery:
