The slide has a scratch-resistant, low-reflection nDLC coating and is provided with front serrations, which ensure safe and good handling even with wet or sweaty hands. The pistol's other features include the excellent trigger action, the slide catch lever that can be operated on both sides for right- and left-handed users, a GLOCK Marksman barrel (barrel with polygonal barrel profile) and the modular back-strap system, in which the circumference of the grip can be adjusted to the shooter's individual hand size using the included grip backs.

The sights have been improved and equipped with a larger light gap for the rear sight and front sight. This results in a significantly better sight image, especially in adverse visibility conditions. The handle of the 45 Crossover is based on the ergonomic design of the Gen5 and comes without finger grooves. This ensures better handling for the shooter - without specifying the finger width.
