The Glock 45 MOS FS SD in 9 mm Luger combines the large grip of the G17 with the short slide of the G19.

The barrel of the G45 has been reworked to achieve even higher precision potential. The new Glock Marksman barrels were developed as part of the tender for the US Army and have an advanced polygonal barrel profile. The new deep black nDLC finish is significantly more resistant to corrosion and scratches. The sights have also been improved and equipped with a significantly larger light gap for the rear sight and front sight. This results in a better sight image, especially in adverse visibility conditions.

The front serrations now make it easier to load or check the readiness status from the front, both practically and quickly.

The grip is based on the new and ergonomic design of the Gen5 - without finger grooves. This ensures better handling for the shooter, there is no need to specify the hand size through the width of the finger grooves. The Glock 45's large, full-size frame, inherited from the G17, has a high magazine capacity. The revised GEN5 magazine shaft features an internal magazine funnel, where the grip has been slightly widened outwards. This makes reloading much easier and faster. Even in adverse lighting conditions, the orange feeder is immediately visible in the empty magazine. Other new features include a smoother trigger and the slide release lever that can be operated from both sides, which means that the pistol can now be operated equally well from the left and right.

The MBS Modular Back Strap grip offers a significant advantage: the scope of the grip can be adjusted to the individual hand size of the shooter using the enclosed back strap. The magazine holder has a larger contact surface and is changeable. In addition, the GLOCK Gen5 pistol models, like the Gen4 models, have the proven, roughened RTF surface on the grip and the back of the grip.

The M13.5x1 muzzle thread allows the installation of practical accessories.
