Since the 17th century, Gmunden has been a place for traditional Austrian craftsmanship: the fine art of pottery. Artists came here to work and were inspired by the natural beauty of the area around Lake Traunsee. They produced the first ceramic products that impress with their beauty and design.

The hand-painted Hirsch butter dish (for 250 g butter) from the traditional Austrian company Gmundner Keramik can be combined with a wide variety of designs from the Gmundner series. Each piece is unique because it is hand painted and is an exclusive accessory on every table. Because they are made from ceramic, the items are very robust compared to porcelain.
