The bolt action rifle HLR Basic from Haenel was developed by experts from the police and military and represents the optimal precision rifle system for entry into long-range shooting.

The rifle not only combines high functionality with incredible precision, but also impresses with its ergonomics and modularity. This means that the HLR Basic can be easily adapted to the respective requirements without any tools.

The repeating rifle has an extendable shoulder rest with an adjustable cheek rest and the receiver is also compatible
to AR-15 stock stocks.

A 3-position firing pin safety prevents accidental discharge, while a handguard with Picatinny 4694 rail and M-LOK offers additional protection against burns from a hot barrel and a mounting option.

The rifle is also equipped with an adjustable double stage trigger with a trigger weight of 10 to 20 N (1.0 to 2.0 kg) and a plug-in magazine with a capacity of 10 rounds.

The cold-forged match barrel also has an M18x1.5 thread for a silencer or muzzle brake.

• HLR 308 Basic: Caliber .308 Win., total length 993-1,159 mm, barrel length 600 mm, weight 5 kg.
• HLR 308 Basic: Caliber 6.5 Creedmoor, total length 993-1,159 mm, barrel length 600 mm, weight 5 kg.
• HLR 338 Basic: Caliber .338 Lapua Mag., total length 1,315 mm, barrel length 690 mm, weight 6.5 kg, with mounted 3-chamber muzzle brake.

In addition, the HLR 308 Basic models and HLR 308 Pro are also available as a compact version with a barrel length of 510 mm.
