Hartkopf - real Solingen handicraft In 1890, the grandfather of the current owner, Günter Hartkopf, the steel goods factory Friedrich Hartkopf, which mainly specialized in the production of pocket and pen knives. Just like in the year they were founded, the pocket knives are still made by hand today, which makes it possible to produce smaller series. Although production was simplified by new machines, manual work always remained in the foreground. All blades are also forged according to the old principle. Meanwhile the owner's son, Holger Hartkopf, is involved in manufacturing and will take over the business in the near future.
