    With the Gryphon series, the company Hikmicro offers for the first time a combination handheld device consisting of a thermal imaging and night vision device. The GH35L is a compact handheld device that can be used as a fusion device.

    So you have thermal imaging technology and night vision technology combined in one device. The combination of the two technologies brings a decisive advantage when targeting the game and the safety factor when shooting in the dark is significantly increased.

    The integrated range finder, with which it is possible to precisely determine the shooting distance, should also be emphasized. The built-in sensitive detector perceives temperature differences from <35 mK (NETD) and runs at a frequency of 50 Hz. This means that even small heat signatures are visible. The 35mm lens creates a field of view of 19.0/100m at an angle of 10.97°(h)x8.82°(v). In addition to the optical image magnification through the lens of 3.5, a digital zoom with 2x, 4x and 8x magnification is integrated.

    A detection range of 1800 m and an identification range of up to 300 m makes the device an all-rounder, whether in the forest or in the field. An OLED HD display with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels shows the captured heat signatures clearly and with high contrast. The built-in sensor works with 640x512 pixels and a pixel interval of 12 micrometers.

    Thermal imaging and night vision can be used in fusion mode, increasing detection range and detail. Optionally, the image can be displayed in 6 different color schemes. The night vision technology is equipped with a CMOS image sensor and a lens diameter of 22 mm. The device runs on a wavelength of 400-1000nM and has a fine resolution of 1920x1080 px.

    The fusion device is comfortable to hold and can be operated intuitively. Photos and videos can be recorded, which can be shared via the Hikmicro app. In addition, brackets for external IR emitters can be purchased. These increase the range even further. The batteries are charged either via the USB-C connection or a power bank. The protection class is specified by the manufacturer as IP67. The weight is 510g.
