High-end silencer from Formula 1 premium supplier Krontec.
Krontec's OR-50 silencer series is extremely robust, can be completely dismantled, is partially self-cleaning and, according to the DEVA test, achieves top values of up to -32 dB at the shooter's ear - and without a "first round pop". The hard-anodized surface is non-reflective and has a non-slip coating. Due to the consistent use of high-quality aluminum and titanium, the silencer is a long-lasting companion. The function of the titanium core is guaranteed for 10 years.
Due to the unique eccentric design, the shooter has no restriction of the field of vision during quick attacks (e.g. on driven hunts) or when used together with night vision technology. The supplied multifunction tool is used to assemble, align and disassemble the silencer. A QR code is lasered into it, which leads to a video tutorial that simply explains the installation.
The supplied UV and heat-resistant rubber rings secure the gas outlet openings against moisture and foreign bodies - ideal for shooters. The Krontec silencer can also maintain its recoil reduction of approx. 1/3 thanks to the flexible rubber rings.
Hunting is sustainable. That's why Krontec's silencer series is the first certified climate-neutral hunting product. Regional tree planting projects are intensively supported.
Optionally, the silencer can be further upgraded with a push-on ring with a fiber sight for fast target shots and an accessory mounting rail (at extra charge).
Please note that Krontec silencers can only be mounted on barrels with a maximum diameter of 21 mm . If you want to install the silencer on a semi-automatic, please note the comments below!
Available calibers OR-50 and OR-60
- .264 / 6.5mm
- .30 / 7.62mm
- .323 / 8mm
- .375 / 9.5mm
If you install a silencer from Krontec on a semi-automatic, the following must be observed:
When used on a semi-automatic, a larger caliber group must be selected in order to guarantee the function.
The weapon must be suitable and approved for silencers.
We ask for your understanding that the guarantee claim expires in this case, as the built-up counter pressure is significantly increased. As a result, the shutter speed increases sharply and the function can no longer be guaranteed depending on the ammunition.
Notes on silencers: Existing hunting law bans or restrictions on the use of silencers in the respective federal states must be observed. In terms of target ballistics, the use of silencers when using normal hunting ammunition has no effect - the effect of the bullet remains the same. The perception of the environment is also not affected. Silencers reduce recoil as well as noise at the source. This protects the environment (e.g. hunting dogs) from noise damage. They reduce the muzzle flash almost completely, so that in poor light, the markings and direction of flight of the game can be better perceived. Before pulling the weapon through, the silencer should always be removed in order to avoid damage to the screens. Penetrating oils are recommended for cleaning and preserving silencers. High-temperature-resistant greases have proven themselves for maintaining the threads.
