Rover G2 Carbon bolt action rifle. The very light rifle - only 2.5 kg - comes with a patented, one-piece carbon fiber stock with a cushioning rubber butt plate. The system housing is precision milled from 7075 aluminum with minimal tolerance and has a blasted, satin surface finish with subsequent Hartanodization. The cylinder closure is CNC machined from high-strength steel. It is chrome-plated and has a winding fluting. The cold-hammered barrel (Ø 22 mm) has the proven MRR Multi-Radial Rifeling inner profile. The barrel is equipped with a muzzle thread (M15x1) and is therefore prepared for the attachment of a silencer. A Picatinny rail is installed on the system box to enable repeatable optics changes. The closure is equipped with 3 locking lugs and has an opening angle of only 60°, so it can be repeated without any problems even when lying down. The trigger is adjustable. The safety used locks both the trigger and the sear. It is a very safe system because the locking of the sear is particularly robust. And when the sear is locked, the firing pin is also locked. In theory, a safety that directly locks the firing pin is safer, but due to the small size of the components, these parts are often less robust. The rifle has a removable insert magazine with a magazine capacity of 3 cartridges.
