    The Rover Varmint rifle is sold at Sabatti Custom shop built. The 7075 aluminum alloy rover system is machined from a solid piece and features an integrated Picatinny rail.

    The match trigger is factory set to 0.6 kg / 1.3 lbs. The cold forged, blued barrel of the Rover Varmint comes with the MRR multi-radial barrel. The 61 cm barrel is equipped with a barrel thread.

    The safety used locks both the trigger and the sear. It is a very safe system because the locking of the sear is particularly robust. And when the sear is locked, the firing pin is also locked. In theory, a safety that directly locks the firing pin is safer, but due to the small size of the components, these parts are often less robust.

    The laminated wooden stock in competition style with pistol grip, adjustable cheek piece, rubber butt plate and an embedded M-Lock rail under the forend complete the overall picture.

    Mercury präsentiert die völlig neue Repetierbüchsen-Familie „Rover” - made by Sabatti. Die Serie wurde für die Jagd, das Sportschießen und den professionellen Einsatz komplett neu entwickelt. Das System wird aus einem massivem Block Ergal 55 präzise CNC-gefräst und harteloxiert. Auf Hülsenbrücke und -kopf findet sich eine praktische Picatinny-Schiene, die die Montage von Zielfernrohren ermöglicht. Der neue Verschluss wird aus einem Stück Stahl CNC-gefräst und ist je nach Modell in verchromter oder mattschwarzer Ausführung erhältlich. Er ist mit 3 Verriegelungswarzen ausgestattet und hat einen angenehmen Öffnungswinkel von 60°. Von besonderer Bedeutung ist, dass der kaltgeschmiedete Lauf mit einer Laufverlängerung ausgestattet ist, die ein einfaches Auswechseln des Laufes ohne restliche Anpassung ermöglicht. Jedes Modell verfügt über ein Mündungsgewinde für die Anbringung bspw. eines Schalldämpfers.
