Merkel Gear Folding knife Keiler Tool

The Merkel Gear Keiler Tool G10 was developed for demanding wild boar hunters. That's not to say that this very solid folding knife isn't excellent for all other types of hunting. However, the breaking open of wild boar - especially in wintry, ice-clogged rind - places special demands on the robustness of such a tool. The Keiler Tool G10 is uncompromisingly designed for practicality: robust, hygienically harmless and easy-to-clean G10 handle scales in bright orange with olive-colored intermediate inserts, the blade strengths are well dimensioned, all metal parts are made of rust-resistant 440C steel. Thanks to its drop point shape, the actual knife blade is ideal for careful sharpening and can be easily resharpened thanks to a subtle hollow grind. The tool's long ripping blade (knife knife) also allows fat rinds to be sharpened in one go without getting caught in the long bristles of a black coat. A saw should always be used to open the thorax and break the lock, especially with the robust bones of sows - and the Keiler Tool G10 has just such a powerful and extremely sharp saw! A high level of safety at work is guaranteed by the backlock mechanism, which locks each blade individually. The blade length of the knife is around 8.5 cm. The handle, which lies solidly in the hand, measures 11.5 cm. The grip scales made of indestructible G10 have been given a texture that cannot slip out of your hand even in really wet conditions. For thorough cleaning of the knife, the scales can be removed using rustproof Torx screws. A lanyard hole and subtle logo symbols on the blade complete this breaking tool, which was developed for rough everyday hunting. The Keiler Tool G10 is delivered in an olive/black colored belt case made of robust Cordura®.
