The Keiler Tool G10 from Merkel Gear was developed for demanding wild boar hunters. That's not to say that this very solid folding knife wouldn't be ideal for all other types of hunting. However, breaking up wild boar - especially in winter, ice-clumped rinds - places particular demands on the robustness of such a tool. The Keiler Tool G10 is uncompromisingly designed for practicality: robust, hygienically safe and easy to clean G10 handle scales in bright orange with olive-colored intermediate inserts, the blade thicknesses are well dimensioned, all metal parts are made of rust-resistant 440C steel. The actual knife blade is ideal for careful sharpening thanks to its drop point shape and can be easily re-sharpened thanks to its subtle hollow grind. The long breaker blade (mew knife) of the tool allows even thick rinds to be sharpened in one go without getting caught in the long bristles of a black coat. A saw should always be used to open the chest and break the lock, especially with the robust bones of sows - and the Keiler Tool G10 has just such a powerful and extremely sharp saw! A high level of safety during work is guaranteed by the backlock lock, which locks each blade individually. The blade length of the knife is around 8.5 cm. The handle, which sits solidly in the hand, measures 11.5 cm. The handle scales made of indestructible G10 have been given a texture that won't slip out of your hand even in really wet conditions. For comprehensive cleaning of the knife, the shells can be removed using stainless Torx screws. A lanyard hole and discreet logo symbols on the blade complete this breaking tool developed for rough everyday hunting.
