A modern, practical over-and-under shotgun with double lock, hand cocking and exposed ball barrel - that is the concept of the Merkel Over and under rifle shotgun B3.

With the two-lock manual tension system, the B3 can be guided relaxed and safely. The top trigger bars and safety catch bars as well as the automatic decocking process when opening the slide provide additional security.

The two-lock system means two shots are available in quick succession. The classic combination with the tried and tested 12 caliber shot is the most popular “combination” for good reason. The steel shotgun barrel, in conjunction with the free-swinging ball barrel and the heavy-duty, removable hunter tilting block breech, is the solution for the hunting area without compromises.

The 55cm long, adjustable barrel bundle consists of a 12/76 caliber shotgun barrel and a free-swinging, horizontally and vertically adjustable ball barrel for high precision and good warm-shot behavior. It is prepared for Suhl tilt-up installation as standard.

The front trigger has a set trigger for precise bullet shooting. The stock with pistol grip, Bavarian cheekpiece and pigsback is finished with a rubber butt plate.

The system box distinguishes its exclusivity with the hand-engraved hunting engraving.
