A modern, practical over-and-under shotgun with enclosure, hand cocking and exposed ball barrel - that is the concept of the Merkel B4 over and under rifle shotgun in hunting version. With the single-lock manual tension system, the B4 is guided relaxed and safely.

The overhead trigger bars and safety catch bars as well as the automatic decocking process when opening the slide provide additional security.

The classic combination with the tried and tested 12 caliber shot is the most popular “combination” for good reason. The steel shotgun barrel, in conjunction with the free-swinging ball barrel and the heavy-duty hunter tilting block breech, is the universal solution for the hunting area without compromises on the weapon side.

The 55 cm long, adjustable barrel bundle consists of a shotgun barrel and a free-swinging ball barrel for high precision and good warm-fire behavior. It is prepared for Suhl tilt-up installation as standard. The front trigger has a fine trigger (without set trigger) for precise bullet shooting. The stock with pistol grip, Bavarian cheekpiece and pigsback is finished with a rubber butt plate.
