Normal conversation is very well possible, while loud noises such as a gunshot are dampened by around 44 dB across all frequencies. The replaceable foam ear cuffs are not stuffed into the ear canal but seal it on the outside, which means a gain in comfort compared to ear plugs. Laid around the neck or clipped onto the hat, it is positioned over the ears just before the shot is fired and enables relaxed and hearing-friendly shooting.

The Pro10 is also ideal for clay target shooters who have problems with earmuffs because they hit the earmuffs from below when they hit the shaft quickly.
