NEXTORCH TA30C - the further development of the TA30
Thanks to its unique, tactical superiority, the NEXTORCH TA30 has become one of the most widely used operational flashlights in the world. Police, military and professional security experts describe the TA30 as the only truly tactical flashlight.
The first generation TA30 already had an impressive 1,100 ANSI lumens, which thanks to new LEDs and technology was soon expanded to include a stronger 1,300 ANSI lumens. This LED flashlight is a real worldwide success. Now at NEXTORCH we could have simply rested on our laurels, but that doesn't suit this innovative company. The lead at NEXTORCH is continuously being expanded and is gladly passed on to the users immediately. As a logical consequence, the new TA30C can now ensure convincing safety in use.
What's new about the TA30C
The most important feature of the new TA30C has been retained: the uncompromisingly simple and stress-safe operating concept with the patented ring switch and the instant light that only lights up as long as it is held down. The instant stroboscopic flash with increased thumb pressure has also remained. For the continuous light function, the NEXTORCH TA30C has the ring switch, which can be used to easily dim this emergency lamp, e.g. B. as a reading light for document control.
Instead of the 1,300 ANSI lumens, real, tested 1,600 ANSI lumens are now available. The runtime in the highest light level is a remarkable 2.5 hours. Dimmed to the lowest level, even 50 hours of light are possible with one battery charge.
The included 18650 battery now has a USB-C charging connection as a novelty, so charging is even faster and you don't need a special charger, a cell phone charger, a power bank or the USB port in the car is enough.
An LED built into the battery lets you know when the battery is fully charged. If there is no way to charge the TA30C's battery, two CR123 batteries can easily be used.
As a further innovation, a battery status display of the TA30C was added at the special request of many special units. Once again typical NEXTORCH: the development of this function took place exclusively in practice. When the ring switch of the new NEXTORCH TA30C is operated, a very faint blue glowing ring in the rear switch provides reliable information about the battery status. The faint blue glow only glows briefly after the ring switch is pressed.
The glass breaker on the front of the lens crown of the TA30, which is often copied by many flashlight manufacturers, has also remained, but here too a change was made to meet the requirements of the emergency services: instead of high-gloss polished stainless steel, which can lead to unwanted reflections and thus to reconnaissance of the opposite side, the lens crown of the TA30C is now made of high-strength, gray titanium and has a permanent matt finish. A sensible and valuable improvement.
The strobe function has also been slightly optimized. Instead of only flashing at one rate, the TA30C changes the flash rate while it is activated. As many tests impressively prove, the desired effect of disorientation in the person opposite is greatly increased by the changing flash frequency. For attackers, this state occurs almost instantaneously because the rapid succession of light and dark overwhelms the human brain. This applies in particular to perpetrators who are under the influence of BTM and/or alcohol, as numerous reports show.
