With the Opinel No 8 Outdoor, the French manufacturer presents a robust, versatile pocket knife. A 2.5 mm thick, stainless Sandvik steel 12C27 is used for the blade. The blade, which is equipped with partial serrations and a shackle opener, is securely locked in place by the proven Virobloc system. The orange-gray handle made of a polyamide/fiberglass combination presents itself in the ergonomic shape of the Opinel knife. A signal whistle is integrated into the handle and can be used to produce a sound that can be heard from afar. A plastic cord allows the knife to be attached in many places.
