A generously dimensioned thumb rest, which was carved out of the back of the blade, gives the PARFORCE red kite its characteristic shape. The simple bolsters made of stainless steel go wonderfully with the decorative, very hard handle scales made of Swartzia wood. Pronounced finger grooves and finger protection, as well as the unusual shape give the knife an excellent hand position and prevent it from slipping forward.
