The high-quality compressed air rifle in bullpup design is particularly impact-proof and powerful thanks to the compressed air drive. In addition, the ball-bearing trigger, which can be adjusted from 550 g to 700 g, creates a particularly safe shooting feeling, which is never detrimental to tight shooting circles. This is also ensured by the ergonomic, perfectly balanced, perforated stock and the pistol grip, which is roughened for extra grip.

The modern semi-automatic system is fed by a 10-shot drum magazine. Thanks to the automatic repeating process, series are possible particularly quickly. The right-hand cocking device produces 7.5 joules of energy in the 4.50 mm / .177 caliber. The pressure vessel has an integrated pressure gauge.

That Steyr X Pro offers maximum safety because the bullet is fired directly from the magazine. When the magazine is removed, there can be no bullet in the barrel.

The barrel, which is only 520 mm long, is coated with Ilaflon and is therefore particularly wear-resistant. Ilaflon achieves extremely high abrasion resistance combined with good chemical resistance and was developed specifically for the military sector and the computer industry. The coating has excellent abrasion resistance that could not be achieved with conventional systems or with powder coating.
