    Given the growing preference of shooters to equip their guns with red dot sights - be it for personal defense, recreational shooting or competition - Taurus 2021 brings the G3 series pistols into the league of Optics Ready with TORO (Taurus Optic Ready Option). models.

    The TORO series slides have a factory cutout so that a red dot sight can be added. In addition, thanks to a sophisticated mounting system with interchangeable plates, the TORO system is suitable for a wide range of available optics.

    The scope of delivery includes 4 different plates, which are suitable for the following optics:

    • Plate 1: Docter, Noblex, Vortex Venom, Buris Fastfire, Sightmark Mini.

    • Plate 2: Trijicon RMR®, Holosun, HS407C.

    • Plate 3: C-More STS2.

    • Plate 4: Leupold, Delta Point, Bushnell, RXS-250.

    The G3 continues the proven polymer frame profile, now in a full-frame configuration, with generous knobs on the grip for maximum control and grip in every shooting situation, and memory pads on the grip scales that allow for quick, positive hand positioning.

    The frame has an integrated Picatinny rail. The manual safety and slide stop lever are optimally positioned over the thumb for easy operation at all times. A nifty element of the G3 is the 6lb trigger, which exceeds the trigger performance of a typical firing pin pistol. A short reset distance promotes fast, controlled follow-up shots. The sighting system includes an adjustable steel rear sight along with a white dot steel front sight.
