Available in .45 ACP caliber, this rock-solid weapon can be used right out of the box. The Taurus 1911 is a precise handgun with the characteristics of the 1911 series. The frame, slide and barrel are hammer forged and not just cast. The assembly and adjustment of the forged steel frames, slides and barrels by the gunsmiths of Taurus is done by hand - individually for each pistol. Compared to Taurus PT 1911 pistol, this model comes with a practical accessory rail under the barrel.
