Mittels praktischer Klettstreifen lassen sich die Stiefel mühelos auch mit Handschuhen schließen. Die traktionsreiche Gummisohle sorgt für Grip in winterlichem Terrain. Ein Steinschlagschutz im Zehen- und Fersenbereich erhöht die Strapazierfähigkeit. Die Innensohle kann zum Trocknen oder optional zum Tragen einer orthopädischen Einlegesohle herausgenommen werden.

Einen Tritt durch Pfützen oder Bäche, oder eine Schneewanderung, halten die Schuhe aus. Nur bei sehr langer und dauerhafter Wassereinwirkung (wie zum Beispiel beim Wandern durch nasses, hohes Gras) kann Feuchtigkeit von oben (z.B. durch feuchte Socken oder einen feuchten Schaft) in den Schuh „hineinziehen“.
