The Haenel CR308 appears as a self-loading rifle in .308 Win caliber. and represents the “bigger and stronger brother” of the CR variant.
The dimensions of the rifle were adapted to the caliber, otherwise it corresponds functionally and in handling to the Haenel-CR gas pressure charger series. The diverse caliber .308 Winchester promises high performance reserves combined with a universal and widely used cartridge.
The barrel lengths of 16.65" and 20" remain identical to the CR223. In terms of weight, the CR308 is around 4.3 kg to 4.6 kg. The self-loading rifle is available with either a direct trigger 28-35N or a pressure point trigger (match trigger) 17-20N.
